A simple little poem written on the way home from visiting the Cousins.
The white-lined road is long, And I am tired tonight. Is it the tiredness That hides the stars from sight?
No, they are not gone, Though they're not in the sky. They've fallen all down, And I cannot tell why.
Maybe they wanted To be in the earth. Possibly they heard Of it's wealth and mirth.
A silly excuse, As one can now see, For they're all dirty, As brown as can be.
So they fell from the sky, With a push or a shove. Now among the Humans, No longer above.
(I've written a couple poem now complaining about Light Pollution, but this is my favorite because it's kind of whimsical. I was speaking about the city lights visible after climbing over a ridge in the car. They were all yellow or red or such, and you couldn't see stars in the sky.)

I really like this one (even moreso than the one about your controller)! Nicely wrapped up it is!
